Frequently asked questions
Veneers or zirconia?
If there is no major loss of tooth structure or root canal treatment, veneers need less preparation and look more natural. Zirconia crowns are preferred for teeth with large fillings or severe crowding.
Can veneers break?
Once bonded, porcelain veneers become one with the tooth and withstand normal chewing forces. A night guard is recommended for people who clench or grind their teeth.
Is getting veneers painful?
The preparation is so superficial that anaesthesia is often not even needed; the procedure is painless.
